Harold A. McGinnis (1893-1986) served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps, Aviation Section as a pilot during World War I and remained in the military until his retirement in 1948.

The Harold A. McGinnis Collection relates to World War I and World War II era aircraft and military personnel. The collection contains five pilot log books belonging to McGinnis which pertain to World War I as well as photographs and five photograph collages consisting of 79 individual photographs that feature portraits and World War I and pre-World War II era military aircraft.

Only the World War I-era materials have been digitized for this collection.
